We are thrilled to share that January marked another milestone for hive5. Notably, we originated loans totalling 3,118,120 Euros in January, demonstrating steady growth of the platform.
Let's take a look at the main business results for January:
- Total loan volume funded since inception – 33 374 819 Eur
- Loan volume originated in January – 3 118 120 Eur
- Number of loans originated in January – 2 211
- The average nominal interest rate of loans originated in January – 15,69%
- Number of active investors – 9 862
We are delighted by the enthusiastic response of investors towards our new Spanish loan originator, Finjet, which first offered business loans to invest in. Investors have embraced this opportunity, demonstrating their confidence in the potential and viability of new loan originator. Also, because of the new restriction in Poland, investors can no longer invest in Polish personal loans. However, Polish business loans remain popular.
Moreover, since February, we have implemented a strategic adjustment in interest rates: we have slightly reduced the interest rates to 14.5%, reflecting our proactive approach to optimising returns for investors while maintaining competitiveness in the lending landscape. Furthermore, due to the significant demand for Spanish business loans, we have temporarily paused offerings in this category to give the loan originator more time to utilise the funds effectively. We assure investors that Finjet business loans will resume in March and consumer loans in February.
Important Notes for Investors
- Investors must adapt their Auto-Invest strategies to the changed interest rates, which now range between a maximum of 14.5% and a minimum of 12%.
- These new interest rates will apply to all new investments made from February 1st.
