March was a steady month for our platform. While the total loan volume slightly decreased compared to the previous month, this shift reflects a natural and expected change in our business structure - not a drop in demand.
Let's take a closer look at the main business highlights for March:
- Total loan volume funded since inception – 94,234,405 EUR
- Loan volume originated in March – 5,837,809 EUR
- Number of loans issued in March – 9,554
- Average nominal interest rate – 14.9%
- Interest Paid to Investors - 2,159,269 EUR
- Total investor registrations – 23 775*
The slightly lower origination volume compared to February is mainly due to Ekspres Pozyczka's transition. As our Polish loan originator reaches financial independence and no longer requires additional listings on hive5, it's a sign of success - not decline.
Recently, our business has been focused on the next step, which our investors are waiting for: the launch of our Romanian loan originator, Credilink. The team is entirely in place, the system is tested, and operational processes are ready. At this stage, we're simply waiting for the final licence to be granted - part of Romania's standard regulatory procedure, which depends on the country's procedures.
Despite these behind-the-scenes transitions, our commitment to maintaining a stable and transparent investment environment remains unchanged. Thank you for your continued trust in hive5. We look forward to the months ahead with huge ambitions.
*Disclaimer: We conducted a data quality check in March and removed inactive and incorrectly registered accounts. This adjustment is the reason for the slight reduction in the total number of registered investors compared to previous reports.
